Happy Holidays to our loyal customers and friends. We are disappointed to have our golf season come to an end, but are excited with our plan to improve instruction programs for 2009. Appropriately, this is the time of year when we can reflect on our blessings and be grateful for our successes. Thanks to all of you for supporting The John O’Leary Golf Academy and our women’s, men’s, and juniors programs which grew significantly this season. We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to help you achieve your goals for the new year.

Best wishes for a joyful holiday season, and a healthy, prosperous 2009.

Tips and Tricks

  • This is an easy and creative way to get an errant approach up and down. First take a low lofted club like a 7 or 8 iron. Take your stance with your feet close together and open to your intended target. Place the majority of your weight forward and take a steep back swing and pitch the ball forward allowing for the contours of the terrain to take the ball to the hole. Good luck and have FUN with it.

Client Testimonials
John has taught me more in ONE lesson, than any other golf instructor I’ve had. He immediately diagnosed my problem, taking the club to much to the inside of the backswing path, resulting in the dreaded over the top swing fault. His remedy was simple and effective. My ball flight and contact improved already; I won a long drive contest at Potomac Ridge GC. I’m looking forward to my next lesson with John. His use of the V1 Golf Swing Analyzer has proven an immense value in my learning the lessons he teaches, and I’ve purchased the V1 Home version for use when I’m not with John. He’s my Super Instructor!
