John O'Leary - Director of Instruction
Following a successful season as Director of Instruction at Pleasant Valley, John decided to launch his own Academy on site. John brings over ten years teaching experience from such renowned Florida courses as Lake Nona and ChampionGate in Orlando. John was also Head Teaching Professional at Celebration Golf Club. Learning his craft from some of the best instructors in the world helped John earn a spot on the 2004 Canadian PGA Tour. He has also won over 15 pro-am and mini-tour events. John has been lucky enough to play golf with and instruct clinics with some of the best players in the world. Having competed and taught with these players has helped mould John's teaching philosophy and has given him experience few instructors have had.

Client Testimonials
My game has improved 8 strokes this season as a result of Butch Catone's instruction. Butch is able to explain the golf swing, course management, and the necessary golf mindset to me in terms that I can personally relate to. In addition, he recommended a Callaway chipper for my short game. I have had 12 chip-ins this year, many of which are over 30 feet from the pin. I would not take it out of my golf bag for anything!
